Wild Carrot

Spring heralds the beginning of the seed-sowing season and I have begun with a few seeds saved from Daucus carota ‘Dara’ (more commonly known as wild carrot). I am looking forward to adding this excellent cut flower to my summer vases and although I no longer have a designated cut flower bed, I will plant these at the back of the borders and enjoy the soft, hazy feel they will bring to my cottage garden.
